Well--here's one for you----- I am a descendant of the Breadalbane Campbells, --and we all know that "Campbell" means "crooked mouth"-- well , our Archiebald Campbell, born abt 1700 in Scotland, married - Mary (crooked nose) Cameron, born abt 1700, of Lochiel. They had 7 children from 1727-1742. Their youngest son James, born 1742, is my direct line. What a combination!!--crooked noses and crooked mouths--- We never had a chance!!-- ha ha !! I am trying to trace Alexanders roots as well as Mary Cameron's. All info about them seems to stop at 1700. I have many Campbell's and no Cameron's other than Mary. Would really like to know who we belong to as far as the clans before 1700. Any help out there?? Don't even know where to start on this. I've just joined and do not have my whole tree on here as yet , will work on that after the holidays. Thanks, Pat
