Margaret Darling (Nee Cameron) & Master Willam Allen Darling: Hi, I am trying to trace any ancestors of Master William Allen Darling and Margaret Darling (Nee Cameron) William Darling was born in aprox 1893. He was born in Collingwood, Canada. His parents were Capt & Mrs J W Darling. He had two brothers called James and John and one sister called Addie (Mrs Stickle). Their father was a well known mariner. Williams wife Margaret Cameron was born in Belfast Northern Ireland. Willaim was a member of the All Saints Church in Collingwood. He was also an active member of the Manito Lodge No 90. William was the Captian of the 'S S Sarniadoc' which was torpedoed in March 1942 by U 161 killing all 19 crew on board. I would like to also know if any trace of the ship was ever found. At the time of the news reports in 1945 there was still no trace. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
