Member Since: October 2004 Posts: 1 Send Message	Neil CAMERON - 1861 census - place of birth recorded as Stawhall, Argyllshire c. 1780's Neil couldn't write, so this would be a case of 'sounds something like' Has anyone any idea where this place could be? Possibilities: Swordle, Stair Hill (Ayr) - even Glasgow??? Oh, and judging from other entries, the enumerator could have been dyslexic (e.i. Blackrock recorded as Backlock) Any thoughts?? Many thanks
