CATHERINE (known as Cathie) CAMERON born 6th September 1897 daughter of William & Kathleen Cameron nee Devlin (both were dead by 1919). Catherine married a Francis H Bigwood of 37 Middlesex Road, Portsmouth then stationed at Annisland Gun Station from her Grandmother's & Uncle's home where she grew up, 84 Park Drive Whiteinch, Glasgow on 11th August 1919. She had two children at that address Helen (Ellen) 25.12.1922 and Francis Walter 15.7.1924 surname Bigwood. By about 1930 the Grandmother was dead and Catherine moved south to Fareham, Hampshire with her husband and two children. It was not a happy marriage. All family records lost and not finding information from any register. Any help gratefully received. |
