Member Since: July 2008 Posts: 3 Send Message	I am trying to find the military records of my father: Stanley Joseph Carter b1914 in Salford. He served in North Africa and Italy in WW2, but other than that i know nothing, not even which regiment he served in. Any help or pointers to relevant websites or record offices would be most welcome.

	army personnel centre ms support division parliamentary & disclosures branch historical disclosures section mail point 555 kentigem house 65 brown street glasgow g2 8ex 0141 224 2743 i phoned them and they sent me out forms to fill in to get my grandfathers army records you will need a copy of your fathers death cert and a £30 cheque and some patience for waiting as they are not very quick good luck
