Need marriage(s) for Willoughby Harcourt Carter before and after he emigrated from England to Australia in 1879. He lived in Victoria for much of his life and also either lived with or married Annie Moffatt Morton (no record of marriage) but they did have 5 children (including my grandmother) Any help would be great. |

Hi Kay. Take care when searching this as there must be more than one William Harcourt Carter. |

There is this birth in 1853 but no marriage listed before 1879. He could be the son of the WHC who married Eliza in the March quarter of the same year. |

I'm not so sure it's wrong Annie. Kay is looking for A Willoughby born in 1853 which this one was. I think Ethel meant that his father who married Eliza was the wrong one but when I picked it up you had deleted your posts so I wasn't sure what had gone on. You were probably quite correct in your findings. |
