I am trying to find out information for my family tree. My gfandmother Bessie, sometimes known as Essie, and may have been called Elizabeth Carter. Died in Newquay in 1967/8 aged approx 66. She married a Wilfred Noel Christophers, Born 1905, either Helston or Penryn, and they moved to Lowertown, near Helston Cornwall. They had one son, Wallace Melville Noel Christopher, (my father) born 1925, died 2001. Bessie Carter had one half sister,as far as I know, one Mrs Lillian Williams, of Trengrouse way, Helston, and a sister, Mrs Kathleen Hendy, who married Jimmy Hendy, both deceased, and they had a son still alive I think, Jimmy Hendy a nephew,who lived in Porthleven. Bessie had one brother, Reginald who moved to the US, and then to Yeovil, he was married to Hilda, had one son Errol who dies in childhood and one daughter Dell, still alive. Can anyone help |
