I am trying to get in contact with George (Georgie) Carter, who was friends with my dad James (Jim / Little Jimmy) Charles Wilson (born 15/09/1948 in the Shoreditch / Hackney area of London), I'm afraid I have very little information on George other than as follows; George and my dad were friends for many years and I have pictures of them on holiday with my grandparents Jim & Rose (Rosie) Wilson. He was also best man at my dad's wedding to my mum, Janet Rosemary Cocks on 11th November 1972. My parents moved to Chingford, London in 1979 and have lived there ever since. I'm not sure if he was married to, or just lived with a lady called Anne, but it was as a result of the breakup of this relationship that my dad and George lost contact. However, it is quickly approaching my dad's 60th birthday and we are planning to have a joint party as I will be 30. It would make my dad's day if I could find George to invite him to the party, however my dad is a notouriously difficult man to get anything out of, so the information I have to find George is sketchy to say the least.
