Member Since: August 2004 Posts: 11 Send Message	Trying to find info about the parents of Ada (known as Abe) Carter born Kirkburton 1855 and married Elizabeth Ann Bentley 1879 in Liversedge West Yorkshire Mother's name was Mary Carter no father registered. Abe's name and from then on the family name was Armitage Carter. I know that there were a lot of Armitages in Kirkburton at that time. This father supposedly ran off to America with a woman called Moria. Can anybody help?
