Alexander George Carter Hi I was born Jennifer Harvey on 7.9.53 in Carshalton, Surrey and adopted at 10 weeks. My birth mother was Joyce Lucy Harvey, born in 1932 in Camberwell. I beleive she married 5 years later. She had an older brother, sister and twin brother/sister. She also already had a son, Colin Harvey, born 1950. My birth father was Alexander George Edward Carter born 1920 in Paddington. He was married but had been deserted by his wife leaving him with a 8 year old adopted daughter of his own. They were both living in Carshalton in 1953. My adoptive parents are now dead and I'm seeing if there are any birth relatives out there. No pressures - just to let you know I'm here and OK. |
