Francis M CARTER b. 1855 Bambridge Hants. Married to Mary A (? midwife?)from Testworth, Wilts. They had 8 children. @ 1881 census was unmarried and lived at The Junction Hotel, Eastleigh, Hants where he was a boot cleaner. Later married and @ 1901 census lived with wife & children at 3 Mount Cottages, Bishopstoke, Nr. Eastleigh, Hants and his occupation was a railway labourer.
