Does anyone know if William Clark, born c1840 and wife Margaret Allan, born c1840 in Craigie by Kilmarnock, had any children. Or perhaps the names of their parents. |

Spend £6 on ScotlandsPeople. That will get you 30 credits - if used wisely will get you up to 5 certs. |

Hi, thanks for your help. I found my gggf James Clarke (born Ayrshire). On his marriage cert it showed his father William was a labourer. Of all the James Clark(e)s listed in the births for 1863-1868 Ayrshire, only one had a father William. that was William Clark and wife Margaret Allan but cant confirm any children. Will try Scottish people as you suggest. |
