Trying to find Clark

Very much a long shot, but my g.gm had a child in 1899 before she married my g.gf but the birth certificate does not mention who the father is the only clue we seem to have is that the child's middle name is Clarke. Lucy Hassell, my g.gm was borne in Billingborough, Bourne, Lincolshire but moved to Islington, North London with her parents and she fell pregnant in there. The child's full name was William Clarke Hassell, he died age 16 during the great war in Gallipoli but his service record only shows Lucy. Like I said, it is a complete long shot but if this rings a bell with anyone please let me know. |
