Hi I would be very interested to hear from any descendants of Christopher Clark/Clarke who was my 3 x great grandfather. He was born about 1788 in Filey, Yorkshire and married Betty Anderson there in 1813. By the time their first child was born in 1814 they were living in Scarborough where Betty died in 1821. Christopher re-married to Elizabeth Hostler or Horsley in 1823 and he died in Scarborough in 1852 My great grandmother Elizabeth Jane Clark was a child of his first marriage and she married John Dunwell in 1837 and died in 1850. I would be pleased to hear from anyone who is related to this family. Sheila Bayley |
