I'm seeking information regarding ANN CLARK, born circa 1875, wife of Charles Edward Tunstall whom she married 22 Aug 1896 (given as age 21) in The Register Office, W.Derby, Liverpool. I know she had 3 children, James Alfred Tunstall, Izetta Josephine Tunstall and Arthur Rothwell Tunstall. Her father was JAMES CLARK, given on the marriage certificate. She features as Ann Tunstall on the 1901 census. I have been unable to locate either a birth or death certificate and would very much like to find these. Since I wrote the above I have found that Ann had siblings Emily (b. c1869), James F (b. c.1871), Joseph H (b. c 1879), Mary E (b. c 1881), Pierce F (b. c 1883), and Cicely (b. c1888), all CLARK. Cicely married Ernest Lenton in 1922. Her mother was Mary Ellen (though I don't know her maiden name). On the 1881 census their surname is misspelt Clarke. |
