I am unable to find a birth record for my grandfather ALBERT ARTHUR CLARK. Birth date believed to be 23/8/1883 in Hackney, London. His father was GEORGE WALKER CLARK whose occupation was boot finisher. Albert Arthur appears on the 1891 Census aged 8 in Stoke Newington, London and on the 1901 Census in Parish of St. Marks, Dalston, London. GWC was married twice and only has a wife on the 1901 Census. Know to have married twice, his first wife was Albert's mother and it is her name I need to find. Any info/ideas? Also, I have a birth certificate for an ALBERT ARTHUR CLARK born April 3 1883, father CHRISTOPHER CLARK, mother HARRIET CLARK formerly KNIGHT if anyone needs it. |
