Hi all,

Trying to find my nan's maiden name! Married name Amelia Blanch Constance Clarke, born 17th July 1925, married Ronald. Children terry, michael, derek, david, trudy.

The birth reference of one of the children will give you the mother's maiden name. Do you know an exact date of birth of one of the children (either your mother or father would be easiest - whichever one is the child of your nan).

dad is 27th Dedember 1947 terence arthur clarke
has a twin michael. But looked on this site and cant find any of them!

Do you know where your dad was born? If it was Lincoln then mother's maiden name is Taylor.

Really appreciate it, not sure if it is Lincoln or not. know they moved to harlow from london at some stage but thats about all I know.

Can't find a Michael Clarke with mother's maiden name Taylor in the same qtr. so this is probably not the birth reference for your dad. It's the only Terence A. Clarke registered in the Dec. qtr. of 1947. I've also looked in the first qtr, of 1948 in case he was registered then but can't find one.
