Can anyone help? Trying to find information on William George Clarke - born 1905 in the East End of London. I know that his father's name was Harry, but would love to know the name of his mother and any of his siblings. William married Emma Alice Pittman in Romford on 19th December 1936 and they had three children together - Dorothy, Allan and Margaret. They moved up to Yorkshire during WWII, where William unfortunately died young ( around 1943/1944ish). I can't find a death for him anywhere - but do know that his body was taken back down to London for buriel. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks, Jacqui. |

Hi Lindsey, Thanks for that. Presumably his mother's name would also be on his marriage certificate. Sorry I'm new to this - where's the best place to get to access this? Jacqui. |
