Tracing father of Ethel Lilian Clarke

I am trying to trace the father of Ethel Lilian Clarke who shown on her marriage certificate to Frederick Ernest Pickering on 17/12/1919 as Hector James Clarke deceased.
I am unable to trace any other reference.Can anyone help please?

No Eithel I know but there is a Maude E - E could be Ethel

Thanks for a very quick response.Unfortunately I don't
think this is the right person as on the Marriage Certificate she is given age of 30 which even allowing for poetic licence means she was born abt1889.She is from Peabody Buildings in Southwark where I assume Hector James was from
