Mother .is either catherine or florence going on marriage look up for1893 that matches patricks name,but of course i may be wrong.
On john georges m.c[1925] it says patrick is a railway inspector and he was one of the witnesses
john states he is 31 and he married in smethwick birmingham south.
any help to find them in 1901 would be great because as per usual for me they seem to be gone awol.

thank you girls i saw those and considered them but as john was born in 1893 would have thought patrick would have been married in 1901
maybe i have the wrong birth place for patrick or hes going under his second name of john as i did see onejohn clarke that worked for the gr but not sure if gr is the railways.
if all else fails ill have to send for john georges b.c and with two to pick from of course ill order the wrong one first and be charged £3 for the pleasure of.

thanks tania, those are the marriages im looking at even though they are after his birth record.
the father john in 1901 is a builder but of course he could have changed his job and kate could be catherine.
oh well kathleen and tania looks like its back to the drawing board!
