Trying to find my great grandad john clarke from Bedford,Amptill area ,married to sarah Godfrey, lived at one time in tanners end toddington.

You don't supply any dates. They're really necessary in order to help you. If you don't know when they married it's very easy to look up here:

Just type in the 2 names.
You'll find they married in 1864.

Update, sorry, just noticed you had a birthdate in the title.

Yes I think the lodger is Sarah's sister, they were both born Teddington.

Thanks for the information Re John Clarke and Sarah godfrey Their son is my husbands grandfather Henry Clarke he was married to Margaret Angelina Foley. Their son Edward G R Clarke was Peters Father. We would value some information on Johns Father who was also called John he was dead when John and Sarah Married.
