can anyone help please. i have the marrage cert for arthur clarke and fanny foster 29 02 1892.what i am trying to find is the mother of arthur clarke born 1869 scarborough,the cert gives his father as john and fannys as harry johns proffesion on cert is painter and harry is a fisherman, i have looked on all cencus to try and find but keep drawing a blank it says on cert both fathers were deceased hope someone can help thank you

there are 2 arthurs ,exact info on them ones a grandson and other has mum margaret, so i personely would go for the grandson,cant find anythink for john[1846]except the one in1861 census] there is a death in 1871 but itmakes him to be born 1836
