Trying to find more information about my great grandmother Jane Clarke or great grandfather George Smith they lived in Mansfield Nottinghamshire in 1901 and appear on the census as married. Jane is down as born in 1879 in Mansfield George as born in 1877 in Arnold. They have 1 child. I have managed to track both of them down in 1911 census Janes YOB showing as 1877 on this though but on her own with 5 children. I have found george in ransom sanatorium also on the 1911 census. But before 1901 struggling to find any more information. I have a copy of son George's birth certificate which has given me Janes maiden name as Clarke so think this is correct. any information would be appreciated Thanks Wendy |

There are a couple of births in Mansfield for Sarah Jane Clarke's but that's the nearest I can see. |

The marriage certificate would hopefully give you her father's name. |

Maybe her in the 1891 census (transcribed as Jane's daughter but I think probably Caroline's daughter):- |
