Hi everyone, I've come across my first Irish ancestor James Clarke, born about 1866, Parish of Burt, Co Donegal. Can you point me in the right direction to get more info on him, like a date of birth or names of parents. He was in the Royal Marine Light Infantry at one point. Many Thanks |

Hi, I don't have a religion for James Clarke. I know he married in the Church In the Royal Marine Barracks in Stonehouse, and he listed his father as a labourer called William. I know where he was born from the 1911 census and he died in 1917 at home in Plymouth. The James you found could be the one. |
