Many years ago my uncle managed to trace our family tree back to the late 1800s. I am now attempting to go back further. I would like help in tracing the ancestors of Jack Clarke (my dad) born in Manchester (1922) married to Kathleen Robinson (1929) from Blackburn. His father was John Clarke married to Esther Ann (grandparents) John's father, also named John was married to Mary (great-grandparents) At this time it is thought that my ancestors came to England from Warrenpoint, Northern Ireland. The names of my great-great grandparents were John Doran and Minnie Gertrude Doran (maiden name Leake) We believe that at this time some of the Doran/Clarke family emigrated to Argentina. I would be very grateful for any information on the Clarke/ Doran connection. Many thanks.
