my husband Peter Clarke is trying to trace his family history. His father was John Joseph Clarke born in Port Laoise in 1890 and came to England after serving in the Irish Rangers in World War 1. His grandfather was the caretaker at the courthouse in Port Laoise in the 1930,s. His father had a brother called Charles, one called Jimmy and one called Tom. Would be very interested if anyone has any information about his ancestors. |
