My Grandfather: 'Ernest Arthur PARSONS 1898 (Eastbourne) - 1977 (Eastbourne)' married 'Ethel Rose CLARKE 1898 (Eastbourne) - 1992 (Eastbourne)'. I believe that his father was 'Percy PARSONS (born - Illford Essex)' AKA 'Wink' who married 'Charlotte HOLLAND (born Netherfield)' I'm trying to find any information whatsoever on the parents grand parents etc on any of the above, especially the PARSONS line. The CLARKE line name, changes from CLARK to CLARKE around 1890 - 1900. 'Herbert CLARK' father to 'Ethel Rose CLARKE' decided to alter his name as it seemed a little bland to him.
