I am trying to find out what happened to my maternal grandfather EDWARD WILLIAM CLARKE (DOB approx 1886). He was in the Royal Navy and then became a long distance lorry driver. He was married to my grandmother IDA REBECCA JAMES and lived in Edmonton, London. They had one daughter (my mother) EDNA EILEEN. His parents were EDWARD CLARKE and ELLEN CHARLOTTE. His siblings were LILLIAN AND IDA. I believe he left London approx 1943 and moved to the Midlands, but do not know where. If anyone has even a tiny piece of information, it would be very welcome. |
