Tryng to find: MARY JANE CLARK (nee TAGGART). Born 1888 Workington, Cumberland. Died 1971 Leicester. JOHN SPENCER CLARKE. I think JOHN was born c1878 but I don't know where yet. In 1915 he moved from Liverpool to Leicester as a Fountain Pen Maker. MARY (Molly) his Common-Law Wife followed shortly afterwards with their children, JOHN born.?, STELLA b. 1909 and JOSEPHINE b.1912. He died 1915 two months after they had moved aged 37. Their son JOHN SPENCER was adopted by MARY'S sister MARGARET (Maggie) and WILLIAM GEARING to Halifax after losing his father. He died c1970. I would be grateful if anyone has any links I can follow. There are loads of JOHN S CLARK'S in the Census's and I have no way of knowing which one he is !!!
