I'm looking for info on Hilda Vera Collins born 1909. She was my Nan and sadly I don't know anything about her parents or grand parents etc. She had an older sister, Violet Evelyn Collins, and that's all I know about her family. I'd love to know more, she died before I was old enough to be asking questions. Thanks and here's hoping.

Was she born in England /Wales?

If so....go to freebmd, and find her birth reg'n

Buy the cert..........it will tell you names of her parents.......

If you get the birth cert will give fathers name for you to go back.

Or you could see if she is on the 1911 census although you will need to purchase credits to view the image.

I Violet eveylyn was the older sister there is a birth for 1904 but it is Aston Warwickshire - there are also three other Violet but a a bit earlier
