My greatgrandfather,Thomas Charles Collins, was born there in 1841,he was a mariner and his father was Daniel Collins. I cannot even find his birth record so any help would be fantastic. Thanks. 	Nicola, there are a few Thomas Collins born in Sussex, one in Rye 1838. How sure are you of the year? People could be very "imaginative" with their ages!! Jan
