I am tracing my family tree and would like to be in contact with anyone who thinks there may be a connection. My greatgrandfather was William Collins who married Margaret Hinson in1872. Their children were Elizabeth,Ann, Agnes, John James, Mary Ellen, Margaret, William, Thomas & Isabella all born in Northumberland. William worked as a coal miner. His father was Thomas who was born in Ireland abt 1821. He worked as a farm labourer and married Agnes. Their children were William, David, Agnes, Ellen, Mary, Margaret, Elizabeth & James. All of them were born in the Cheviot region of Northld.between 1851 & 1874. If you have any of these folk in your family please contact me. Sue Hills |
