Hello Pauline, I have quite a few Cook's in that area in my tree, but it is very confusing as there are 2 families around the same time in the census' with the same names. My William Cook c1804 married Elizabeth Fish c1804 and their son Henry was my GGrandfather born in 1839 at Yarley,Wookey, however the other family were also William c1812 & Elizabeth c1810 and had a son called Henry! My Henry married Hannah Creese at Wedmore in 1865
Hope this is of help to you, I dont lookat this page very often so you may have already found out more than me. I am at present searching for William's father who I think was called Edward.
Best Wishes
Barbara Ellis (nee Cook)
