still trying to find my birth father Gordon Cook who was working in Carlisle and living in or near Carlisle at the time of my birth in 1959. he was not married to my mother. feeling frustrated as have written to social services for a date of birth and have not heard anything! |

Do you mean you are trying to find him, or are you trying to find out his name. If you have his name you do not need to bother with Soc.Servs. at all. Were you adopted and do not know your birth name, or did your mother manage to keep you - sorry for all the questions but suggestions and help will be different depending on which things you know or don't know. |
