Ada Elizabeth Cook, born Portsmouth 1891 Married Alfred Ernest Wearn in 1909. (who lost his life in WW1 (1917)when the RN ship he was on hit a minefield he left 4 small children l children Ada remarried a Henry Winslade, I have her marriage cert. but am trying to trace her Parents, I have had trouble finding her birth cert. as GRO say the Father isn't John as we thought. Maybe she was born out of before they married and then took the name Cook? I don't know I've tried everything. I am desperate to find her birth certificate she is my husbands Grandmother. and we ca't go any further back until we find this. Pat. |
