I am trying to trace my wife's father's family. His parents were George Thomas Robert Benjamin Cook, born Bridport 1863 and Margaret Sarah Pearcy, born Bethnal Green 1863. They were married 30 Jan 1882 in Bethnal green. In 1887 the were living at 9 Craven Buildings, Bethnal Green when my wife's father was born. He went into hospital at a young age and was diagnosed as incurrable. His parents never tried to collect him and they moved from Craven buildings. He was taken into care, but never managed to contact any of his family. He died in 1947. Any help would be appreciated. |
