I am looking for any Cook's from the Wickham (Hampshire) area who may be related. My Gt. Gt. Gt. Grandfather was called William Cook I do not know his wifes name or how many children they had. They did, however have a son called George Cook who married an Eliza Epps on the 16/05/1853. Once again I do not know how many children they had, however they also had a son called Charles Edwin Cook (later recorded as Edward) born 16/02/1874. He grew up and married an Edith Berrett who on the 24/12/1903 gave birth to a son called Herbert (my Grandfather). There is a family story of a relative who worked and died on the Titanic. as far as we are aware George was a relative of my Grandfather Herbert Cook who was a Footman at Buckingham Palace in the 40's early 50's. As far as I am aware Herbert was married before he married my Grandmother Teresa Prendergast. Herbert had a son with his first wife. If anyone has any information on any of the above names I would very much appreciate it. |
