I am trying to find anyone with any details of the COOK family who lived in the BALHAM / CLAPHAM area of London. Especially GEORGE COOK's family who I believe moved to SURBITON in Surrey and set up a laundry. One daughter married a John ENGLAND. George had a brother FRANK who is my great grandfather. JOHN COOK (Georges father)married a Ms BROOKS but do not know where or when . The family lived in Gonsalva Road Clapham. I have tried to find them on the 1891 Census but this road is missing from the Census details ANYONE GOT ANY IDEAS. I have not yet checked the 1901 Census. I hope to get round to it soon. |
