Has anyone got access to the 1881 census? if so would you be able to do me a big favour and look up a Edmund cooper born 1854/1855 in suffolk and let me know who he was living with at the time?

You can get free access at Family Search for the 1881 census, so much fun finding it yourself.

I just took a look - there is an Edward Cooper b.1859 in Suffolk but can't see an Edmund - have a look for yourself

Cant see him on the 1881 only this one in 1861.

Hi there

yeah that is my man on the 1861 census, i was tryin to find him on 1881 census as i wanted his wifes name he was a widower on the 1891 census :(

Was he living with any of his children in the 1891 census. If so you could look for one of the children in the 1881 census.

Also if you look at the age of the oldest child give or take a couple of years you could look for marriages on freebmd
