Find Ancestors

Having found my g.g.g.grandfather through certificates and censuses, I have tried to go a step further back and find his marriage and birth (and therefore parents) on IGI, without success.

I wondered if anyone might have access to any other records that might help. He was George Cooper. On the 1851 he was a cutler, aged 50, living at Thames Street Kingston-upon -Thames. Born Middlesex, Islington. He was married to Emily, aged 42 born Charlton in Sussex.
I have looked for marriages in all areas but nothing seems to fit- can anyone help?

Do you have one of the childrens birth certs for Emilys maiden name?

They are old enough to have married prior to 1837 and be on PR's instead of BMD.

Hi David, no the last cert I have is the marriage cert of the eldest son, George and he was was born c1835 unfortunately.
