I was born Eileen Mary Cox in April 1938 in London, my mother was unmarried at the time, her name zalso was Eileen Mary Cox. I believe that she got married during WW11 and went abroad, If anyone is looking for someone who was adopted, my adopted name is Marshall

Hi Eileen - the 'National Archives of Australia' shows an Eileen Mary Cox b 13/3/1923 Collight Gdns S Aus.enlisted at Adelaide.... n.o.k mother Mary.(1939-45) ..The 'South Australian State Library' has an 'Ask a Librarian' service - they will check their records including electoral rolls and newspaper death notices. .Valerie (W Aus)

....also..I noticed on the 'South Aus. Genealogical Soc.'s 'Newspaper death index'.. Eileen Mary Leuenberger (nee Cox) d 1999. ...The 'South Aus State Library' will look this up for you -it may show family names. ....Valerie
