i am trying to find records of thomas cox born Nottingham 1885 ish, married emma burley, had two sons thomas and william according to 1911 census,i believe he died in action possibly before 1914, i have a photo in uniform looks like he is holding a crop, one wide stripe on right arm with a badge above,
then another badge further dowm with what looks like crossed swords underneath then a braid in shape of V upside down he also has small round hat to the right with chin strap, brass looking buttons double breasted jacket with cords draped. i would appreciate any help as i am spending a fortune and not getting very far thanks
