Find Ancestors

Stuck on this one, trying to find my G G Grandfather born about 1848 -1850 not sure ,we think he may have been born in romford essex.He died in Edmonton Middlesex 1910 aged 62 he was a house painter he did have a partner by the name Charlotte E Wright born abt 1858 in Orsett essex .They had three children Walter born 1889 Dorothy 1891 and Edwin born 1895.
Does any one have any info on them.

Assume though that birth certificates of children have been obtained for mother's surname, so can probably discount.

I wondered about that one Choccy,and there is a big gap between Dorothy and Edwin jr
and have ALL the births been bought to make sure they are all charlotte and Edwins?

And where are they all in 1891 then?I cant find Edwin,Charlotte and Walter cox.
