Albert Cox in Australia

I am hoping to find family of Albert Cox who emigrated from the U.K.
I know little about him except that his father was a brother to Mary Cox who married William Costello and then Thomas Heggarty/Haggerty in Sheffield.
I remember briefly meeting him and his wife when they visited Sheffield in the early 1970's.
Thanks for any leads.

Hi Doreen,
There are a lot of Albert Cox who migrated to Australia. Do you have a middle name or likely year of immigration?

A lot of migration records (including mine) are online at
www.naa.gov.au
you will need more info than just a name or you'll be sifting through a lot of results. The results show the date of birth, middle name etc..
Do you know the wifes name or his date of birth?

My mother in laws father was Albert Cox, came to Australia in the 70's but didn't stay long and went back to England and also spent some time in Florida, they came from the Bristol area. Alberts wife was Florence.

Thanks to Katherine, Elizabeth and Diane.

Unfortunately I don't know any details of Albert or his wife. I suspect he was one of the £10 Poms, but that's only a guess.
He was a cousin to my recently deceased mum. She was Dora Haggerty (often spelt Heggerty) born Sheffield 1922, one of the children (Sally, Helen, Patrick & Dennis) from Mary Cox's second marriage. Her first marriage was to William Costello, with children William, James and Mary. As he visited my parents in Sheffield early 1970's on a visit back to England, I'm assuming they all knew each other.

Albert's father ???? would be a brother to Mary b.c1887.
I thought my Cox family lived at Brimington/Staveley in Derbyshire throught the 1890's 1900's, but with the 1911 census for my grandmother Mary Cox (never knew her), I'm wondering if I've got it all wrong. On the 1911 her place of birth is Staffordshire.

I realise this is a long shot but I'm crossing my fingers that another member recognises the names.
Oh how I wish I'd asked questions earlier.

Thanks,
Doreen
