His name was Arthur Edward Cox born 1921 in Portsea Island Portsmouth - His mothers name was Hilda May (Bolton ?) his father was in the navy served on HMS Flinnders, he had same name as my father. There were 3 other children Kathleen (kate) Rosie (Killed during world war 2) and i think Dora was the youngest, connections to Aldershot Hants. My father was brought up in childrens home run by Nuns. Lived in his early youth in Addiscombe , Surrey, Oval Road.
