hi there trying to find information on my Auntie, her name is Mary/ Mollie Cox from York, north yorkshire. Born about 1922 in York. First married an army personnel of the name of Bowka, then married an officer in the USA navy called Manders in Cornwall, eventually emigrated to the US. Mollie parents were Arthur John Cox and her mother maiden name was Mary Dalby. Mary and her brothers and sisters were accommodated at St Stevens orphange in York, the mother, Mary died one week after giving birth to my mother Edith, olive Cox. please help with any information thanks adrian wilford [email protected] |
