Hi Grandfather's maternal side. Thomas COX was born in Langley, Berks in 1808. He is my ggg grandfather on my grandfathers maternal side. He married Mary Neat and they lived in Uxbridge, Middlesex. Their children were Mary, Thomas, William, Henry, George (my gg grandfather), Daniel, Emma & James. George COX was born 1850 in Uxbridge. He married Hannah Bearman. He's my gg.granfather. He had my g.grandmother Emma Elizabeth in Hammersmith, London in 1876. Grandfather's paternal side William COX was born POSSIBLY in Wooburn, Berks in 1776. He is my gggg.grandfather on my father's paternal side. He also seems to reside in Uxbridge, Middlesex. He is listed on my ggg.grandfather Henry's marriage certificate so much of what I'm saying is guess work. Henry COX was also born in Uxbridge, Middx in 1819. He married Isabella Moss in London, Middlesex. They had my gg. grandmother Isabella Cox in Marylebone in 1851. Isabella COX married William BINES and had my g.grandfather John in Southwark 1873. His daughter Eliza also married George COX (bn Uxbridge middx, 1843), daughter Mary married Henry COX (bn 1849, St Pancras, London). I think that there were many intermarriages between Cox and Bines. There are 3 siblings all Bines who marry Cox. They're really confusing me!! Anyone shed any light?????? |
