susan birchall ... this message is for vivienne cox.... concerning info required on william robert cox born southport 1898 returned from australia in 50's he is the eldest son of william & rebecca cox (known as bessie) she was born broseley shropshire willam snr was born in ireland 1875 . they had 11 children and were my grandparents i am the only daughter of their youngest daughter ruth born 1920 the children born to bill cox and his wife evelyn in australia are ashley and david i think there was also another son russell william robert died in levenshulme manchester in 1956 and his father died the same year in ashton-u-lyne i am currently trying to find out where in ireland william came from he is listed in the 1881 census at evans street liverpool vic cox son of victor cox of shropshire is my only remaining cousin we are both looking for further info on our grandfather do you have any? |
