Hi I'm currently looking for any information on a Willian Cox bargeman on the Thames around 1900. Probably born around 1860 - 1880. Because of his job he's proving very elusive to find. Cheers Julie |

My grandfather's elder brother was George William Cox born at St. Saviour Surrey in1860. As his father was also George he may have been called William within the family. In the 1881 census he was described as a hop porter and a labourer. The address at that time was38 Charlotte Street Bermondsey London. Is that of any help? Best wishes Pamela MacLennan |
