I am trying to find information about my grandfather, Frederick Owen Cox. He married my grandmother, Hilda Johnson on 15 Augusut 1915 at St Peter's Church, London. He is aged 22 on the marriage certificate and his father is also named Frederick Owen Cox. I have tried the census' and neither appear in them. I should say that this was not a happy marriage and my grandfather and grandmother separate in about 1919. No relatives spoke of him and it was only after my grandmother's death that I found out anything about him. My grandfather had theatrical leanings and I believe he was in vaudeville. He died in the early 60s, I think, and may have had a sister. I would very much like to find out more about him. |
